The trousers are good and the delivery was timely.

I had previously bought pleated trousers from Peter Christian which fitted well. I have yet to try out the newest ones. Their trousers are higher waisted than standard M&S styles and whereas M&S allow a little extra room, PC's don't. They fit like trousers made in India. The mix of wool with silk makes the fabric luxurious but too lightweight for trousers; the hems lack firmness and flap, rather than look dressy. PC are a little more expensive than M&S, Brook Taverner , Charles Tyrrhit and some others. It would be useful for me to be able to try them before buying; but there are no outlets in the London area.
